On today's Backchat, we're talking about gender equality.
In the run up to International Women's Day, the University of Hong Kong has released a survey on public attitudes, which found that most respondents agreed that more respect for women's rights
was needed in areas such as opportunities in business, politics, higher education and equal pay. However, it also found that men placed less importance on these issues than women did.
Co-organised by the Hong Kong Federation of Women's Centres, the study also found correlations between gender equality and mental health.
What needs to be done to improve the situation. We'll get some insights from our guests.
