Hong Kong Federation of Women's Centres (HKFWC), established in 1981, has long been committed to supporting grassroots women by providing a wide range of services such as childcare, counselling, training, and employment support, serving up to 280,000 individuals annually. These services not only offer women much-needed respite from the pressures of daily life and caring responsibilities, but also create opportunities for them to develop themselves by freeing up time and space, gradually breaking through the constraints of traditional gender roles.
With approval from the Social Welfare Department, HKFWC will hold a Flag Day in the New Territories on 24 October to raise funds for our low-income family service programmes and the daily operation of our service centres, so as to sustain our community-based, women-centred support services.
As HKFWC does not receive regular government subvention, the continuation of our services relies heavily on the support of the community. This Flag Day is therefore crucial to our ability to continue supporting women and families in need. We sincerely invite you to join us as a Flag Day volunteer to provide meaningful support and hope to low-income families.

• All volunteers under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
• The Social Welfare Department has approved three organisations to conduct flag-selling activities on 24 October 2026 in Hong Kong Island, Kowloon and the New Territories respectively. We are authorised to conduct flag-selling in the New Territories on that day.
