Today, the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority (MPFA) and our "Treasure Wealth, Treasure Love" Family Financial Education Programme co-organised the MPF event "Sisters' First Step in Finance: Learning MPF from Scratch."
We were honored to have the participation of Mrs. Ayesha Macpherson Lau, Chairman of the MPFA, Mr. Wallace Lau, Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, and Mr. Eddy Chan, General Manager (External Affairs).
Women play a vital role in household financial decisions, and strengthening their financial skills helps safeguard the long-term well-being of both themselves and their families.
At the event, MPFA colleagues delivered a brief talk introducing MPF investment knowledge to women in the North District and guided participants on how to select MPF funds through the MPF Fund Platform.
Mrs. Lau and Mr. Lau also encouraged attendees to make good use of the Default Investment Strategy (DIS) and the eMPF Platform to manage their MPF more effectively for themselves and their families.
The participants responded enthusiastically, asking many questions and expressing their desire to plan and manage their MPF more thoughtfully.
