HKFWC45 Hybrid Seminar cum Launch of the WISE+ Academy

Since its establishment in 1981, the Hong Kong Federation of Women's Centres has remained committed to its women-centred service approach, supporting grassroots women through different stages of life. In response to their needs in family life, employment and personal development, HKFWC provides a wide range of women-centred services informed by a gender perspective.

As we celebrate our 45th Anniversary this year, HKFWC will establish the WISE+ Academy, a new platform dedicated to consolidating and passing on the knowledge, wisdom and frontline experience accumulated through our work over the years. Through the Academy, we hope to foster greater exchange with professionals across different fields of Hong Kong's social welfare sector and promote the wider integration of gender-responsive, women-centred practice into social services.

The Academy is committed to equipping women with the knowledge, skills and networks they need to pursue independent development, realise their potential, and strengthen their voices and influence. The flowing lines of the Academy's logo symbolise women moving forward with both gentleness and determination, growing with confidence and joining together to advance a more gender-equal society.
