One year after the successful completion of “InnoGoCake@Wah Fu 2025,” the Jockey Club Wah Fu Centre once again partnered with Cyberport Hong Kong and Le Méridien Hong Kong, Cyberport to host “InnoGoCake@Wah Fu 2026” on the eve of the Lunar New Year, bringing women together again to cook up shared warmth and strength.
With the support of Ms. Georgina Chu, Chief Corporate Development Officer of Cyberport, and the hands-on guidance of Chef Cheung Lok Man, Dim Sum Chef of Nam Fong Chinese Restaurant, 18 women members learned hotel-standard techniques for making “Golden Turnip Cake.”
They cooked together, exchanged family recipes, and infused creativity into traditional methods — cooking reunion, memories, and heartfelt intentions into every dish.
Beyond Wah Fu, this year the programme was extended to our new service point in the North District — Cheung Lung Wai Centre, with “InnoGoCake@Cheung Lung Wai 2026.”
Under the guidance of veteran chef Ms. Anita Chiu, 14 women members learned to make festive Chinese New Year cake, enabling more women to take part and strengthening community connections.
This was more than a cooking class, it was a space for mutual support and shared growth among women.
Through making turnip cakes and nian gao, women expressed their capabilities and confidence, bringing more care and positive energy to their families and communities.
Our heartfelt thanks to the guests and partners who supported the event:
- Ms. Sisi Liu, Director of the Hong Kong Federation of Women’s Centres
